2008 Campaign to Hire America

The first annual SnagAJob.com Campaign to Hire America kicked off in March 2005 to highlight the hourly workers in America, with a goal of helping 50,000 people get part-time and full-time hourly jobs by Memorial Day. Bill Rancic, Season 1 winner of "The Apprentice" and SnagAJob.com spokesperson, helped begin the campaign when he took a day off from his position with Donald Trump to work at The Home Depot® and Wendy’s®, joining the 73 million other Americans who are employed in hourly positions. We were not only able to achieve the initial goal, but we surpassed it when almost 59,000 people found hourly positions through SnagAJob.com by Memorial Day! After seeing the impact it was having on hourly job seekers across the nation, SnagAJob.com decided to extend the Campaign to Hire America and made it our new goal to put 100,000 people in hourly jobs by Labor Day. By Labor Day of 2005, SnagAJob had helped a total of 124,000 Americans get hourly jobs in only six months.

Now we are ready for the 2008 SnagAJob.com Campaign to Hire America! We are reaching out again to the hard-working hourly people who make up the backbone of America.

SnagAJob.com, the number one source for hourly employment, has relaunched the Campaign to Hire America with the goal of helping 400,000 hourly job seekers get hired in 2008. With more than 100,000 jobs on our site at any given time – jobs that grow in number and variety – we’re dedicated to helping hourly workers across the nation find employment and we celebrate each and every hourly worker.
