To continue the celebration of hourly workers in America, SnagAJob.com launched the second "America's No. 1 Hourly Worker" Contest in June of 2006. After receiving thousands of entries from across the nation, an independent panel of human resource professionals helped SnagAJob choose the five finalists: Sidney Karr, Employee Leasing Solutions® employee; Christine Burghardt, Chick-fil-A® employee; Marianna Jessee, CVS/pharmacy® employee; Dennis Mehrer, Caribou Coffee® employee; and Daniel Woods, FedEx® employee.
These five finalists were sent to New York City to interview with Bill Rancic, Season 1 winner of "The Apprentice," about their passion and commitment for their jobs. While their employers and family members cheered them on, the Grand-Prize winner was announced and given $10,000! The remaining 4 finalists all received $1,000. Read about all of the winners below!
